Donate Blood & Platelets

Join us in saving lives. By donating blood and platelets, you provide essential support to patients in need.

Donating blood or platelets is a simple yet impactful way to support patients navigating cancer and other serious illnesses. You can donate blood and platelets at the state-of-the-art Kraft Family Blood Donor Center, located at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham & Women’s Hospital, or in your community at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women’s Hospital Blood Mobile.

All donations collected from generous blood and platelet donors visiting the Kraft Center and the Blood Mobile directly support patients being treated at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, providing them with the essential resources they need.

The Kraft Family Blood Center was established more than 30 years ago when Robert and Myra Kraft worked closely with Dr. Kenneth Anderson of Dana-Farber, a world leader in multiple myeloma research.

“As a NICU nurse, I see the effects of blood and platelet donation on the smallest of patients firsthand. Platelets have a short life, so you might as well donate them to someone in need.”
